About Me

My photo
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl. More than anything in the whole wide world, this little girl wanted to be loved. She searched many, many foreign places for love. She kissed many toads for love. She loved and she loved and she loved. The more she loved, the harder it became. Her tiny little heart was fading. Layers and layers of molten skin were binding her. Flowers in January

Changes in weather

brings smiles to my heart

fluttering like a newborn pup

Changes in weather

keep secrets in my pocket

spare change

pennies to be counted

Changes in weather

it is all Mother Nature

nourishing growth

in more ways than one

Changes in weather

freeing all to be

and find

love

Pretense

I pretended we were lovers

the magic in the sky

held me to lies

I pretended we were lovers

a one night stand

became forever

friends

I pretended we were lovers

the touch

melting in my skin

I pretended we were lovers

reality slipped aside

I pretended life was real

playing my part

became a skill

Waking up to find

I pretended

Where does that leave my soul

Where does that leave today

Pretending we were lovers

Tears sliding down my cheeks

knowing

it was real

Felt With The Heart

24" x 18"

Acrylic on Canvas with Glitter

The paint moved me

the expressions soothed me

gliding like an eagle

over a surface

untouched

If not felt with the heart

it is not felt at all

If not touched by the heart

it is not touched at all

Love

moves

soothes

glitters

painting

an awesome

nature
