One Tree Left

12" x 12" Acrylic with Glitz on Canvas

Amongst the ice

the cold

the frost

with its leaves

still green

shining

One tree left

to remind me

of the springtime

to come

again

so gallantly

One tree left
oh so free
to breathe
One tree left
just to be
