About Me

My photo
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl. More than anything in the whole wide world, this little girl wanted to be loved. She searched many, many foreign places for love. She kissed many toads for love. She loved and she loved and she loved. The more she loved, the harder it became. Her tiny little heart was fading. Layers and layers of molten skin were binding her. Finally, the little girl exploded. She began lashing out at everything and everyone in sight. Bolts of lightning were striking all she touched and did not touch. She began to spin out of control. As she spun, rings and rings were spinning off of her painting the earth. Many colors began flying throughout the air. Suddenly, she was naked. Work In Progress 4-28-12

When I first began working at my current job, I had a supervisor who did not like me.  We moved from one office building to another and she placed me in a very small office with no window.  An occupational therapist who I work with brought me this window so I could have a "window" in my office.  Since that time, we have moved several times from one building to another.  I also carried this "window" with me.  Recently, I was moved into a new office.  During that move, I brought home many of my paintings including this window.  My newest project....painting my "window".  By the way, I have a new supervisor, and she has been my supervisor now for several years.  She sees me for who I am and appreciates me!  Time takes care of everything.  Patience is the key!
